I think the pay would be about the same (maybe more!!) but at least I'll have more fun doing my job. And hours would give me more time to do some other stuff. I'm still considering it la...the pros n cons. Was playing around with the idea while on the way back.

i went in to work late today (i seem to mention that alot huh?) Needed to go city to apply for my Medicare...and cancel the private medical insurance I had. I had a better looking girl serving me this time (the woman yesterday was a sour looking creature). and she told me I didn't have to pay for the insurance after I got my PR! woop! saved me $300++ !

work was the usual...everything normal. only that I don't get to do kendo today :'(

did I mention much about yesterday? I met up with Andy in the evening, and had a couple of beers :)



right now... i'm webcamming with Jun-Yi... sort of anyway. Both of us are still downloading stuff...so its more like watching still pics than a video :p I'm trying to decide if I should just spaz in front of the com and watch anime...or play games (got lots of it now!) OR do something more serious like job hunting & house hunting.

Which brings a question to mind...should I get a new job first? AND THEN look for a place to live. Or the other way around. Hmmmmm

And now I found out I still have to pay the fees for an 'Overseas Visitors' cover even though I got my PR...just because I didn't inform them and change my cover. Doesn't make a difference even if I didn't pay it...I still have to pay for backcharges. Crap....what a waste of money

ok...i haven't been back in sydney for more than a day and i'm already missing KL :'( To all you guys (& gals!) back home... I had a blast. Makes me kinda regret being in Aussie while u'r all partying back there. Its bloody awesome being back home. The food, the partying, the drinks, the food ;p and best of all... the friends. Love you guys to bits!! And meeting up (and partying!) with Jason after not seeing him since I came Aussie was great! good food on Friday btw :)

I'm really sorry for those of you that I couldn't meet up with...or couldn't hang out as much with. Kar Weng, Jun-Yi & Sugus comes to mind. Theres always next time right?! I'll post up more pics of my last days in KL soon enough. Still busy setting up my computer. Bought a whole heap of stuff. I actually got myself a webcam & a mic. Mucking around with that at the moment. And I just installed my spanking new DVD writer! Anyone wants me to burn & mail DVDs? ;)

spent the day just chilling at jason's place. spose to go over and help clean the house...but everything was done by the time I got there. I'm supposed to go shopping as well...super last minute...considering that I'm gonna be flying off in less than 12 hours. I haven't even bought a dvd writer yet. Think I better go do that now...thinking if I should go down to MV or 1 Utama.

A wasted Jason...

continuing from my previous post...sort of

i went down to Petaling Street with Fongie & Kar Yee (her fren) today. Soooo bloody hot. Even my jeans were kinda damp with sweat when i reached home :p I didn't get anything though. Both the girls picked up a mini mahong & gin rummy set. I just ate 'kon lo meen' :) and had the air mata kucing (kuching?)

i really need some sleep actually. feel so tired...but dunno whether i should go lame at jason's place. the guys are watching dvds there right now. but i'm so tireeeedddddd. and its gonna rain heavy...lightning & thunder liao...so i better turn off the computer.

must remind myself to get an mass image resizing program. so that its easier to upload pics. Hmmm...I actually wrote a program like that before. Can resize images :) well..it was part of that 'friendster' website that I was mucking around with earlier in the year. guess i should expand on it. hmmmm. Use some 3rd party software in the meantime. heheh

quite the 'pei' now man... slept at 5am. and didn't manage to get much sleep either. woke up at 8.30...and slept on and off after that. it was damnnn noisy. some apartment was doing some renovations. i think the downstairs unit. Combo'ed with last night's activities... it doesn't add up to a conducive rest.

a whole bunch of us went to Zouk last night. Mambo night... it was bloody packed. haven't been in such a crowded club since...ermm... the last time i went clubbing :p I didn't get entirely wasted...cuz i was supposed to drive Swee Fong home, but she drove my car in the end. hehehe. i was still concious :) but too dizzy to drive from the city. good thing too. passed by a road block. we didn't get stopped though... guess we didn't look wasted enough :)

i've got some pictures...not of Zouk though. I didn't bring my camera to the club... good thing I didn't in a way. Might have lost it somewhere :p Its not exactly the most portable piece of equipment in the world (yes Fatts...your camera the best for bringing everywhere :p)

i went to Pasang for seafood dinner last night with my dad's fren. Dammnnn far. The restaurant is called Coconut Flower. hmmm.. did I blog this already? or did I mention it when I replied an email? hmmm. but neway, its bloody far! Got lost going there as well... missed a turning and drove extra 20 minutes. Went to some ulu kampung area area. the kind of place where all hell will break loose if you release a pig there :p hehehe
the only seafood i can eat is fish...so i didn't get to eat a whole heap. but the food i can eat wasn't bad neway. we had something that looks like deep fried shishamo. damn nice!

after that...met up with swan ming & jason and went hartamas for drinks. joanna & brenda joined us and then nins and his gf as well. I still can't spell her name... so i shall refer to nin's gf as nin's gf for now :p hehehe. had a couple of beers and smokes. just chilling. but swan & jason were ragging me to layan the GRO (guest relationship officer! i just learnt that ^_^) aihss.

morning morning... i've been waking up feeling really wasted the past few days. i wonder if its my bed. it feels like i'm not getting a good rest. wake up feeling super tired...and body feels damn wasted.

nothing much went on last night. i went Atria to buy some games. they have games on DVD now! I didn't realise it the first time I went to the shop to buy...so i bought this game on CDs

i bought my camera this morning!!!! picked up a black Sony P-150. nice!!! kinda ex...and overkill...but i'm pretty happy with it. 7megapixel of sexed up camera power!!! heheheh. Paid RM2040 for it...it would have been RM1990 if i paid cash, but used my dad's credit card instead. got some other stuff with it la...256mb memory card, tripod, case, travel bag and a screen protector.

i haven't tried it out yet...because I ermm...lost the memory card o_O Well... I just lost the 32mb one that came with the camera. dunno where it went....i suspect the dog ate it or hid it somewhere. aihs. and I haven't picked up the 256mb memory card from the shop yet. no time to do it tonight...so i'll probably go in the morn tomorrow.

gonna go shower now...got dinner later. any mebbe try to look for the memory stick again. its gotta be sumwhere....

k k..back to blogging. ermmm.. had lunch in Lucky Garden with Fatts and his fren, Cheng Leong. after that... I just went to do abit of shopping in MV. took me bloody 45 minutes to find parking. damn stupid. they closed of the entrance to P2... spent 44 minutes rounding P1, looking for parking with gawd knows how many other cars...and then i found the exit to the P2 parking...and theres like so much parking down there. ma hai...wasting my time only.

too lazy to do clothes shopping... i just bought toiletires to use in Aussie :) cheap cheap! and finally got myself an electric toothbrush! rm35....quite cheap. i think they tagged it wrongly...cuz the green one was $85 (i got the blue one). If thats the case then 'chup tou'! :)

I also bought a new pair of earrings, and a necklace. hehehe. haven't bought these kind of nonsense for some time liao. i'll post up pictures the moment i get my camera, which will be tomorrow!! :)

the new 1U is damn huge... don't think i've seen half of it yet. pretty standard shopping complex i suppose, 'cept for the rainforest part. pretty nice. it'd be great it that got converted into a clubbing/pub strip though. but i guess it'll get messed up really quick.

i realised why my stomach's been feeling so bad lately. it wasn't cuz of the garlic cheese naan i had. its a side effect of the drug i was prescribed for my knee... its an NSAID... so side effects include bleeding/ulceration of the stomach :p basically just means cramps and diarrhea are normal side effects. its called Bextra... similar to the Voltaren I took previously, but this one is once a day at least...not as troublesome.

we went out to poppy garden on friday. it's a pretty nice place. I like the design and layout of the place. its sort of open air as well...so its not stuffy/filled with 2nd hand smoke. I didn't really like the music the DJ played though... r & b stuff... but the songs weren't very good. and theres pauses when he switches songs. killjoy. pictures will probably be up in fatt's blog (when his blog isn't down :p...switch to blogspot!). he was happily snapping pics most of the night.

saturday was just hanging out with fongie. went to have okonomiyaki at Ikano. i think we were cheated out of $2...we ordered cheese with our okonomiyaki...but it doesn't look like it was there...can't even taste it. but the girl cook said she put cheese on o_O aihs..can't argue la...we didn't realise there was no cheese after we were almost done.

walked around after that... they have this really huge pet store over there. apparently the biggest in asia. its not too bad though. a fair bit of animals. couple of reptiles..hamsters..fishes... dogs. not much birds though. hmmm. it doesn't look like the animals are well kept. there was dog poo in most of the cages....and a couple of the dogs were having diarrhea (garlic cheese naan??) Not very encouraging. And its a pet hotel as well.

After that came back to my place and watched VCD. Chinese show...'I want to be Model'. think i mentioned that I bought that...its really good! nonsense show...but its really funny. you guys should watch it if you can. Errmm..what else ? My cousin had a birthday dinner at her place...so i went for that. the I met Fongie again for a movie. We wanted to catch a horror flick, but then all the tix were right in front of the screen, so ended up watching Shark Tales instead. Watch it!!! As expected from Pixar, its a funny flick. I can't wait for Incredibles.

fatt's blog is down again...seems to be down a whole lot lately. and i also just realised something. his url is sstwo... as in ss2 in PJ :p i never noticed it until sharon mentioned it last night. i alwez just read it as swoot...or something like that. hahaha. blur man...quite unobservant.

saw a doc again this morn... and have to go back for a follow up nex week. aihs. he reckons i've got RSI... repetitive strain injury ? or something like that. basically too much pounding of the knee... and the cartilage is worn out..rubbing against the bone.. etc etc. stuff that i kinda know already. ish. and he wants me to stop kendo/impact sports for at least a month..or two. shit man....don't know if i want to listen to him o_O but i guess i should huh? the drugs he gave me won't help if i continue with kendo... bah

oh! camera update... i'm going to get a Sony Cybershot. Now i'm deciding to go with the P150 or P100.... the difference? P150 is in BLACK...and 7 megapix. p100 in silver (couple of colours...but i don't really like them), 5 megapix and about rm300 cheaper ? not too sure..wrote it down somewhere. I just remember the P150 is rm2050... i think i mentioned this in a previous post ??

don't know what the hell was up with today... spent sooooo much time waiting. for what? firstly... I had medical appointment at 11am. but they never recorded it down and treated me as a walk-in, and they only mentioned that AFTER I waited for an hour. I asked whats going on, and they said another 15 mins...which became 1/2 hour...which became 45 minutes... which turned into an hour o_O damn peeved off.

the rest of they day was doing errands and stuff. had to pass some documents to a property developer...all my pay slips and shit. waited for 1/2 hour plus there for him to photostat the documents.

after that had to go down city to pick up my mom's air ticket (flying to perth on wednesday) and sent my god-sis back. rain + kl traffic = 3 hours stuck waiting. o_O

only good thing about today was that the wiper on the car died. well..that isn't a good thing. it just happened when we were right outside my house. lucky it didn't happen in kl...if not wouldn't be able to drive back. the rain was blooody pouring. if only it was the same in sydney...get rid of the stupid water restrictions.

i had another big dinner tonight as well. god-grandfather's birthday. my mom has alot of godfather/mother/sis/daughter... i think i will go the gym tomorrow. 4 nights in a row eating like theres no tomorrow.... i'm really gonna go back to sydney with lots of excess baggage :p

tireddd... just got back from the 2nd wedding dinner. glad its all over... not that i did anything. hahahah. the dinner's alrite la.. held somewhere in the city. near Sogo. I think the place called Wangsa Maju or something. Same building as where I got new specs (getting, to be more accurate)

the only thing i don't remember was....leaving the place o_O passed out already. hope i didn't do anything uhhh....too embarrassing. good thing had sugus to drive me back :) no drunk driving for me!

and i need to get a pair of slacks tomorrow as well. ma hai... i wear size 32-33... but some size 32 slacks are too bloody tight... o_O bahger... and my mom got me a really nice pair from singapore. can't remember the name... heheh. but its incentive to lose weight! :)

i already kena diarrhea on my first day in KL :p and I haven't even started eating in all the dirty places yet. I had nasi lemak with beef rendang for lunch... in mid vally jaya jusco. clean looking place (but gawd knows what goes on in the kitchen...)

Its now some kind of wood panel flooring. my bedroom is more of a storeroom now... the clothes that I had over here has been relegated to a tiny corner in my cupboard o_O MY computer has been transferred to my sister's room WTF?!! at least now I have a small TV and a vcd player in my room.

i went shopping today. sorta...just walked around Market City (shopping complex in chinatown). I wanted to get a couple of t-shirts... but nothing nice. and the one i wanted didn't have my size. actually... it did, but the image printed on it was abit distorted, so i didn't want it. i bought an aluminium tie holder though. 6 bucks. pretty cheap. closing down sale kinda thing.

after that just lamed at kino with thos. there was an anime convention at town hall. but its $25 and full of geeks (hmmm..shouldn't say that since i watch anime too...and lots of it). theres a couple of ppl cosplaying as well. I saw a Tifa from Final Fantasy 7 on the street. and a cat girl turned up at kino later. and there was a dorky looking guy wearing a Naruto headband. thats damn sad... and he looks around like hes in college or uni.

anyway..thats about it la. it was raining the whole day as well...so couldn't really shop. i'll try to do some on wednesday...got a couple of hours to shop b4 my flight home. fatt's wants me to find some kangaroo balls o_O

I wake up too early... its 8am on a Sunday. I should be sleeping in but I'm blogging instead :p I woke up an hour earlier anyway. Watched a little bit of anime (woot! theres no1 online to chat with :p) and went to do some grocery shopping. At least I planned to. The shops weren't open yet o_O Most of them just getting ready for business, so I ended up not getting anythin.

I did have breakfast though! An egg tart, sausage bun (yummy!) and some pai kuat with rice (double yummy!). Not too bad ahh..breakfast for $5.80 I could eat the pai kuat everyday! The portion is about right...like Malaysian serving. Its a normal serving of the pai kuat you get at 'yumcha' places, but they cook it with rice at the bottom. about a bowl's worth of rice...slightly more. pity they don't open for dinner.

food makes me happy :)

kendo was fun today! but the most tiring so far... we did free sparring, so its pretty cool. i kena paued by the seniors...and scolded too. hahahah. i kept defending myself (u'r suppose to just keep attacking). i know that...but i don't have the bloody stamina. absolutely dying... but fun in its own way.

i actually got bruised though...ma hai. training with other beginners is more dangerous than a senior... they hit the spots which isn't protected by armor. kena bruised on my elbow too...don't know how or when that happened. i only noticed after class that the elbow region was blue black already. ugh... i even got one on my wrist...the gloves don't do much there. it hurts each time i get hit there. mebbe i should be some tennis arm bands :) more padding. heheheh

was thinking of giong out tonite...but feeling damn tired now... so probably not.

i have committed a most grevious sin!!! i went to have siu yuk + char siew rice for dinner tonight, and the unthinkable happened. I...I..*sob* ...dropped a piece of siu yuk on the floor!! NOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! Sacrilege!!! The crisp golden brown skin...the glistening layer of fat... laying on the floor. mocking me. "Haha! You can't eat me now!". AHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! The gods of siu yuk must be punishing me for polluting a plate fo siu yuk with char siew. I won't do it again!!!

not going to kendo today... i ate abit too much. finished up the rest of the beef rendang i cooked yesterday. i think i cooked enough for 5-6 meals...finished it all for today's breakfast, lunch and dinner. i also had a whole can of pringles on the way home. picked up the pringles when i went to buy some soya bean. greedy. couldn't even wait another 2 minuts to reach home b4 i opened it. ended up polishing half b4 i even reached the door :p

i feel rather uncomfortable now...stomach really....bloated :( i'd probably puke thru my helmet if i had to do kendo. blech

i recently started watching Azumanga Daioh. cutesy type of anime. doesn't really have a storyline. but its funny. I'm blogging about this cuz I sorta like the opening theme. its been repeating in my head for the past 2-3 days. its a really...odd song. I think I like it...but not sure. hehehe. I'll see if I can post a clip up. the music just intrigues me. its a simple tune...seems abit off key. speeds up in parts...slows down... o_O

enuf about that... i'm feeling pretty sore now. kendo is getting fricking tiring nowadays. i really need to build up my stamina.... i'm pretty much KOed 5 minutes into the lesson. For practice we did 1 minute rounds full on attack. non-stop. it doesn't sound very bad...come on, just 1 minute. but fuck....damn sick, especially since i'm not used to it yet. my stomach was cramping by the end of 2 rounds. throat sore too...have to bloody kiai all the way... haihss

Now i can really imagine how tiring a 3 round 3 minute kickboxing match can be. its probably what i just went through....times 20

blehh...damn hungry after that too. at least i discovered a place in Campsie which was open after 9pm. kebabs!!! yummmy.... makes me miss Intersection Cafe in Melbourne....love their chicken souvlakis (greek kebabs) :)~~~~

it was raining on and off the whole day. lucky i didn't have to get out of the office today. stayed inside where its nice and dry. it was raining in the morning as well! lucky it stopped by the time i got on the bus to get to work. didn't have to walk in the rain after that...still got a little muddy though :p

nothin much else to say at the moment... startin to feel kinda sleepy after taking a hot shower. doing nothin but watchin anime since i got back home. usual lah :p my activities consist of food, anime and kendo. need to expand on that soon. i'm intending to join a gym after kl (and also after I get a car) but unless I get a new job, or OT a lot more... don't think I can afford it. Hmmmm. I guess I should try working double jobs like Jacq... but then that will leave less time for other stuff. Urgghh. Opportunity costs. Mannn...wish that Accenture job would just come true. Being left hanging really sucks.

its a nice day to stay home today... weather looks really gloomy. love it! its not too cold...and theres a nice breeze blowing :)

didn't bother doing laundry today..since it looks like its gonna pour...but just vacummed the house...and cleaned up my desk. so dusty! and the insides of my mouse were caked with dust too! so much dust that the buttons didn't work anymore. i was thinking what the hell was wrong with the mouse this morning, cuz the left button didn't work. so i though i was gonna have to buy a new mouse. but its good as new after i cleaned it up! ^_^ it's a pretty good mouse...it didn't have any problems until this morning...which is kinda amazing seeing how much dust and dirt was inside :p

kinda tiring...spent about 2 1/2 hours cleaning up the place. my desk is so empty now :) filed all my paperwork and stuff. heheh

i'm conflicted about which digital camera I want to get. I'll probably go with either a Sony or Canon. Limiting my choices abit... too much to pick from. I'm supposed to be able to get a Canon cheaper by going through Wilson's sister's friend, who can get cameras at staff pricing. They've obviously got nice cameras...but I don't like the fact that you can only record 3 mins worth of video max. that sux. Sony cameras can do unlimited length vids (space permitting obviously).
Apart from that...I suppose most of the features are equivalent to me. I don't know much about cameras or photography anyway.

The only other feature I'm considering is optical zoom. Should I get one with or without? Digital zoom seems kinda worthless imo, since its just enlarging & cropping the picture in the camera. If I want optical zoom, I'll probably go for the IXUS 500 . If not, then its the IXUS i5. I like the blue one.

hello blog! it was an early night yesteryday. was suppose to go down city...have dinner and then watch "Shaun of the dead" - a romantic comedy. with zombies!! so cool!! we were actually thinking about this idea relatively recently too...with all the shows like "Dawn of the dead", "House of a 1000 corpses". it's only a matter of time :p

but annnyywayy... plans were cancelled thanks to a certain someone (hint: THOS! :p) He was so dead the whole night. why? because he was playing drinking games with his colleagues at work. how much did he drink? apparently...just a glass of beer :p wuss! kla...give him some credit. TWO glasses of beer :p anyway... he was so out of it that he couldn't eat his dinner *SHOCK*... and dinner was baked pork chop with cheese *SHOCK SHOCK!* what is the world coming too?! hahahaha

being the nice ppl that we (fatty and me) are, we cancelled the movie and went back to Thos place. crashed there for the night... Thos regenerated after sleeping it off...and then ordered a large super greasy pizza and some ribs for supper/dinner :)

and today? didn't do much... lamed around and played video games...then they came to my kumdo training and watched me put on my armour and woop kendoka ass :) welll... at least i WISHED i could woop ass :p

actually...i'm gonna stop blogging now...haven't had a shower since yesterday *sniff sniff* i'm still fresh!! hahahah..even after kendo :p

skipped kendo :p but at least i spent the night browing some kendo forum :) and inspecting my bogu. the gold doesn't look so bad now...the sides are black...and theres a black gradient (is that correct?) horizontally across the armour. its pretty slick actually. the armour sorts of changes colour when you look at it from different angles. i'd still prefer a different colour though. gold just feels so...soo.... so cheap :p

but anyway, i'm sorta satisfied with the rest of the armour. it looks pretty awesome in my opinion...although i wouldn't know a good from bad :p Theres some engraving in katakana on the men (helmet) too. It reads:

no idea what it means though...but i think i got the romanji correct. Thos...translate!

it hit 38 degrees today.. fricking hot!!! and its spose to be worse tomorrow. not looking forward to it.

went for kendo class earlier, and i finally got my armour!!!! after how many times that i've been saying i'll be getting my armour 'tomorrow' :p it looks alright, i brought it home with me to examine it in more detail..but i'm feeling really really tired now, and hungry (although i just finished a pack of indo mee, downed it in less than 30 seconds)

its really tough wearing the armour. your vision becomes limited...and its worse cuz i wear glasses. it goes abit out of alignment and everything looks funny. and you can't even adjust it after you put the helmet on. holding the shinai with the gloves is also pretty hard. i don't have a good grip yet...so its hard to swing the sword properly. makes it hard to aim as well...especially with my distorted vision. all in all..its alot tougher wearing the armour. hope i get used to it soon. practice wasn't very tough today...but i felt extra tired after it. and i only just took a week off kendo...sheeshh

only one thing i don't like about my armour...the chest plate is gold!! yucksss!!! and after i specifically told sensei i wanted the red one. actually...i think he gave me the wrong bag cuz theres a 'Kirby' written on the bag's name tag, but i think its too late to change liao. maybe i can swap the armour ?? o_O

better head off to bed...dead tired.

i got my PR!! yayyy!! and after all that bitching i did too :p and it was actually granted on Friday too... so all that weekend grief was for nothing... doh! and thos was wrong as well. i can get the visa in my passport once i get the letter from Adelaide Skilled. I just bring it to immigration, and it gets done on that day. goodie!

had KFC for dinner as well...and a 100 Plus that I paued from Yen :) Shes got plenty left at her place. All from that Malaysia Fest thingie that she helped organised. I'm gonna pau a box from her. Hahahaha.

nothing much else to mention now... spent the night watching anime. and its starting to get warm in the house. not really looking forward to summer.... except for the girls in skimpy clothing part :)

2 more weeks till i'm back in KL!

i just realised i picked up a new bad habit. i like snapping my elbows now. No...not breaking my arm in half :p . i fully extend my arm by throwing a quick punch, then the elbows will make that popping noise. i think i've been doing it pretty unconciously, until thos said that its really bad for the elbows. u'r not suppose to extend the arm fully, gotta tense the muscles and stop the arm b4 it extends fully and 'snaps' the elbow. can't describe it really well. but neway, b4 that i never noticed how many times i snapped my hands. now each time i do it.. i'm like "shit! not suppose to do that". i've already done it 4-5 times since the day started. gotta get rid of this habit. my knees & back are already fucked. i'm so gonna be suffering when i'm older...don't need to add my elbows to the equation.

i'm feeling really sleep now. just had roast duck on rice for dinner. nice and fatty! hahahah. and the tv in the restaurant was showing this program called "You are what you eat". talks about obesity, unhealthy food, blah blah..that kinda stuff. they also showed how much this family of fat people ate. 2 fat parents and 3 fat kids getting there as well. oh wait... its not a family of fat people...its a family of OBESE people. sick... and there i was, watching the program...and happily eating duck skin that was actually still dripping with oil...ooooooo. duck fat is the best!!

hmmmm....i guess i really should slow down my consumption of fatty foods. i don't do enough exercise to counter my input :p i'm gonna end up like the people i hate eventually...eeewww. Actually...i'll start dieting after i come back from kl. hahahahah. no point going back home if i'm not gonna pig out :) food in malaysia still the best!

another lazy weekend. spent saturday at Tho's place playing PS2. Viewtiful Joe is a fun game. Corny plot and dialogue...but at least its on purpose. but its a pretty slick game. the graphics are crappy...in a good way. and the character's moves are quite stylistic. its just fun :p i'm too lazy to make this a game review blog...so go look it up yourself if u'r interested.

thats what i did for most of the day...oh! also watched thos's K-1 (or K1) DVD... kickboxing tourney finals in Japan. its pretty good. a thai guy won it..Bua Kow... or something like that. and then we went to have thai food later at night. hahahah. purely coincidence :p i felt like eating pud thai. we went to the same place where we had lunch with Tan last week. its good! must remember the name next time. 'roy san' or something like that. neway.. its the one after 'In Chan Thai' in Kensington (for NSWers who are interested :p). I was also flipping between Die Hard 2 and Mummy Returns on the the TV at night....aihs... i want a TV too!!!!

crashed at his place...cuz the fool was too lazy to send me back already. biatch! neway...nex mornin (which means this mornin :p), went down to La Perouse to eat breakfast. nice place. good for retired ppl :p had fish & chips...then walked around the area abit. whyy am i doing this kind of stuff with him and not some hot chick?!!??! aihsss... actually, that was tho's line but the feeling is mutual :p

neway...his car died on the way back. welll...it didn't really die... but a warning indicator switched on. the symbol that looks like an engine in the car's display. FYI, that light means that theres something wrong with then engine. so you should get your car checked or serviced. if it's blinking, means u'r already in the shits and you should get a mechanic asap. i just googled this stuff online...so don't quote me :p but it should be right.

well...i didn't get sick today, which means the 'pei tan' smelling chicken isn't spoilt. either that or i got a strong stomach. i still ditched work today. just felt too lazy to get up this morning. i can be so irresponsible... i think i'm the only person among my frens that 'pontengs' work just because i don't feel like going.

i did wake up fine...was pretty wide awake at 6 in the morning. but i lolled around in bed contemplating whether i shuold skip work. the feeling of my warm bed won in the end :p

i didn't do jack shit today either... morning was just watching some anime... and reading a manga on the computer (and one that i've read before too :p) and then I slept the wholeeeee afternoon away. gawd... i'm lazy. I've been like that the whole week. Sleep alot. Even though I wasn't feeling well in the beginning of the week... but I think the inactivity is getting to me. I haven't even gone for my kendo lessons this week.

i just came back from watching anaconda with thos & sin cie. didn't do anything else... just went down city.. watch the movie... and ciaoed. the movie wasn't great, but i wasn't expecting anything anyway. wish we watched shark tales instead.

and something kinda pissed me off tonight! sin cie got her PR. wtf man !??! i think she applied 1 month later than me too. ma hai!!! i am SOOOOO not satisfied. i mean...i should be glad that she got her PR and everything, since she seems to complain bloody alot about her job and everything. but fuck that! i need to get back home at the end of the month. and Thos was saying its almost impossible even if I get the PR. cuz it takes 10 working days for them to process even after they approve. and thats roughly the amount of time i have left.

this kind of stuff really pisses me off. i really hate having to rely on others like this. have so many problems like this last time....i don't even want to mention them here. its just gonna piss me off even more if i think about it. my motto as alwez kinda been 'if you want things done right, do it yourself'. but in situations like this...you can't do jack shit. you can't even tell off the case officer...else they'll just leave your application to gather dust...or just stamp it "Reject". ma hai... at least when I deal with supplier's at work...i can give them hell if they screw up and then they'll get the job done. arrgghhhh.

One...i cooked curry for dinner tonight, and i'm a 100% well yet. might be a little too much 'heati-ness' for my body to take.

Two...I cooked curry with possibly spoilt chicken o_O the chicken doesn't really smell sour...but it didn't smell very fresh. the smell was kinda like a century egg. hmmmm. at any rate, i'll find out by tomorrow if i'm gonna get poisoning... or maybe later tonight.

i had kendo class tonight....but i skipped it. aihs. anime can be a curse sometimes. i did take a fair while to cook. about an hour plus to prepare & cook everything. then i sat in front of the computer eating...and watched a new anime i downloaded. watch, eat, watch, finish eating, kept on watching...untill it was too late to go for class liao :p

really should have gone though. need the exercise. and my armour should be there already. plus i think theres no class this saturday as well. oh well. its time like this i wish i had a car...or a bike. would have made it to class no problems... sux having to wait for buses.

mann...eating kfc yesterday wasn't a good idea. woke up this morning with a bit of a sore throat. felt so dry. at least it didn't get any worse during the day. i drank lots and lots of water... as a result i went to the toilet every 1/2 hour as well. aihss. rather irritating.

i've been feeling buggered since monday. alwez feel quite dead by the afternoon. need to take panadol to keep going. i probably need a full day's rest or something. and rest probaby equals not being in front of the com :p aihss.. i need a tv... and a couch... and a new chair... and a new bed too (the frame broke a while ago) sighhhh

well.. today's a work day...so nothing noteworthy to blog about. i did call up my accenture recruiter b4 i left work. Turns out i might not be able to get a consulting position in Sydney... apparently most of the positions have been filled. sydney recruitment is more on the ATS side...so i can only hope for the best, since he will only know for sure by the end of the week. or work somewhere else... like Canberra (nOoooooooo!)

thos came back this morn... so had lunch with him and Tan (+ cousins) today. Had Thai food. The fried rice quite tasty...alot of seasoning and oil :) yumm! Tan went somewhere else with his cousins for abit so me & Thos drove around...and ended up going back to his place to play games. KOF in 3D!!! it looks pretty good. naturally...the first character i picked was Mai :) hahaha. Thos did the same thing too...so its not just me :p

Neway...we went to Tan's cousin's place after that and watched 'Pumping Iron'. It's an Arnie documentary...full of men who like like the can bend me in half... muscles bigger than my head. sick. tan wanted to watch tho's championship fight...but the dvd was abit fucked..so too bad.

oh yeahhh! must also report tho's bad driving. hehehe. mati engine twice while trying to reverse. and also scraped his $3K rims on the curb... painnnn

i went to bake myself at bondi beach today. the weather was pretty excellent! sunshine for most of the day. it takes kinda long to get to bondi from my place though... going there took an hour. coming back was about 45 minutes. cuz of the train's route.

there was damn alot of ppl at bondi today. everyone out to catch some sun. i think i tanned myself too! hehehe. or mebbe not. i only spent about an hour exposing myself to skin cancer. after that the weather wasn't as good. cloud cover blocked out the sun every 5 minutes... and it got kinda chilly without the sun out. after that i just walked the whole bondi stretch and ciaoed. crazy man... i don't understand how ppl can swim in the water. it was bloody freezing.

the travelling was kinda tiring...but all in all i enjoyed being by myself today. its not as bad as it sounds :p i napped...read a magazine and admired the walking scenery :) naturally...i parked myself next to a group of pretty japanese chicks. hahahaha :p

i spent the wholeeeeee day watching X (anime :p) finished the whole series. and then i was planning to nap after that...but then fatty was bitching me to go down to the city... what a DC man... he alwez tells me off for making last minute plans. everytime go out..must tell him 1-2 days in advance. and he calls me when he is down in the city, expecting me to go out.... nyaabehh. i felt sorry for him and went down anyway :p had sushi for dinner... and then watched AVP.

AVP was err... dunno what to say la. I didn't really mind watching it, but i guess it wasn't that great. theres a good public message in it though. You should smoke till your lungs are black... and then predators won't bother killing you :p i found that part rather amusing

today is saturday. today is supposedly my dojo's 10th annual competition. today i woke up early to go and help prepare for the competition. today, i got to burwood and discovered the dojo was deserted. today, i came to the conclusion that i got the competition date wrong :p

aihs..having a sensei that can't speak english well is tough. well.. i don't really mind that i wasted my trip to burwood today. just kinda disappointed that there wasn't anything going on. i was really looking forward to watching the competition. ah well. now i'm at a loss as to what i'm gonna do today. the weather is looking up now... i love this kind of weather. it rained last night and was still drizzling a little this morning, but it seems to have stopped now. its very cool outside. just nice weather! especially if you stand in the sun.

and then shes telling me i might not even be able to travel even if i make the application. they only give permission to travel under 'extenuating circumstances'. wtf? i'll shove an 'extenuating circumstance' up your anal retentive ass!! won't that be a bitch...if i can't leave the country. my tickets booked and paid for already. fuck man.

i'm cooking luncheon meat sandwiches now :) would haev just brought a meat pie to work, but wanna finish up the bread that i had. fresh bread from bakery is actually pretty good. its only $1.20... and its still quite soft, well...its only been 4 days :p

my body still feels kinda sore...but i think i'm still gonna go kumdo tonight. i SHOULD be getting my armour today. I hope sensei gets me a nice colour. I asked for either red or black... but he looked a little blur. hahahah. no offense meant to sensei, but his english isn't very good :) maybe i should pick up korean. ugh.. i already have too many things i want to learn already.

i'm tired as...but can't fall asleep. don't know if its cuz of the coffee i had in the afternoon... or that my body is too busted for me to sleep. i didn't wanna blog tonite... but i spent the past half hour tossing n turning in bed... so mite as well get up and do something.

for some reason...my finger decided to spontaneously bleed. my body seems to be falling apart. shouldn't have gone kumdo today....my knee is feeling worse than b4 i started resting. guess it hasn't fully healed yet. i'm only gonna go for class 2 times a week for the next month. should take it easy b4 i regret it in the future.

oh! about my interview today. it went reasonably well. I didn't get asked any questions that I couldn't answer, and I probably talked too much on some occasion :p the manager sed i would be a welcome addition to Accenture, that I have the potential to do well... blah blah blah..positive feedback. which is great... but i'm still not getting the job :p

heheh. guess i should make the post clearer huh? the interviews i went for are for a graduate programmer position at ATS (Accenture Technology Solutions). very technical. very hardcore. apparently full of ppl who subsist on coke, pizza and a computer. kla...thats abit exaggerated, but i'm not too far off :p

based on my interviews...and future career goals, the interviewer reckons i'll do better in the consulting arm of Accenture. i kinda think so too...cuz hardcore programming isn't really for me. I like programming... but i suppose doing it 8 hours a day... 5 days a week...for 2-3 years might kill me :p

so anyway, hes gonna make a note that i'm suitable for the consulting division, and pass me back to HR. Hopefully, I'll be contacted for more interviews for a consulting position soon. Ughh... I have to start from square one. aih aihs...

fwahh..20 minutes to write this post. shuold try getting back to bed. i'm gonna be so dead at work tomorrow.

i've got my 2nd round interview tomorrow! mann..they like to give short notice. aihs. i've been studying the whole night. downloaded lecture notes from my old subject websites. hahah. I feel like a student again...cramming for exams at the last minute.

today's weather was absolutely perfect for the beach! but i was too lazy to go :p Andy went though... I spent the day lazing at home and playing computer game. I did my laundry in the morn as well... and loads and loads of grocery shopping. spent $60+ for about a week's worth of groceries. Well.. I did buy alot of junk from woolies. Choc chip cookies (make that PREMIER choc chip cookies :p), mixers for my alcohol and potato chips.

With all the groceries I bought today... u'd think I would cook a decent dinner tonight. But I just ended up eating a pack of doritos and half a tub of philly cheese for dip. dammm nice. but abit too much, even for me :p

also went to see the doc today about my knee. $30 down the toilet...aihs. Analysis? Rest rest rest... I know that already ...but just wanted to confirm that theres nothing else wrong with my knee...don't want it to fuck up like my right knee. gawd... i'm gonna be decrepit b4 I turn 30.

apart from that...grocery shopping was rather interesting. saw a reallly cute girl while i was shopping. sweet features & fair skin. from her chinese, i reckon shes from china. probably doing uni...or even younger. i can't tell. pity she doesn't have much boobs :)

shopping at woolie's was rather eventful as well. saw a guy got ko'ed by this huge ass mofo. saying that fella looks like fat bastard from austin powers wouldn't be an exaggeration. he floored the guy with a punch to the face...and ran away. that bit was kinda funny...cuz hes so damn fat. his max running speed was barely as fast as the speed i jog. anyway...they called an ambo and everything. neway... don't know what brought it on la... they both look dodgy neway. like those abos that like to hang around train stations.

absolutely no activity today... woke up and just spazzed in front of the com. anime OD...and then napped the rest of the afternoon. slept wayyy too long. body felt like mush after waking up. kinda enjoyable in a way... that I can have a worry free day like this :)

was planning to watch Shark Tales with Andy today...but weather was being stupid again. it looked like it was gonna pour bad... but then nothing happened. guess the clouds are constipated. sheesh. i didn't go to kumdo today as well. taking a short break to let my knee heal a bit. guess i shouldn't push it so much. kumdo should improve my body...not fuck it up

I actually made the extra effort today, and cooked... *jeng jeng* fried noodles!!!! impressive or not? :p its actually not a whole lot different from the noodles i usually cook... just adding oil & frying it, which equals extra yummy! hahaha

gonna make more of my day tomorrow. the weather better not fuck up again.

gawwd.. the trains were fricking horrible today. i left work at 8.30pm today....and onli got home close to 11pm. farkk.. whole night gone just like that. quite pissed off. no mood to blog because of that. bahh!

argghhh... don't feel like going today. well. I'm gonna be 1/2 hour late already. too lazy to run for the train now. why am I late? cuz i wanna stay home and listen to music :p Wish I had an ipod or something. aihs. I just completed downloading one of shiina's album. quite fun to listen to. i'm halfway thru it already...been listening since i woke up this morning.

Also finally got to watch the BOA video that I downloaded. Had to google for the stupid codec. Windows is dumb... She is quite hot! But her music only so-so, I guess... nothing special. But I've only heard 2 of her songs so far... so shouldn't make such a hastyjudgement.

today is Friday...but I think I'll come home from work and sleep till tomorrow. No energy lately...but then again, theres nothing to do also. Don't feel like spending money over the weekend. Got lotsa stuff to occupy myself at home neway...only problem is that they all involve staring at the computer screen. bleah.

well... i've got nothing much to blog about. but it's become an almost routine for me. Much like the cup of tea that I have every morning at work. It's Wednesday...so no kumdo today. Came home today.. and watched anime & listened to music.

I've starting dloading mp3s again. Well... only because I can get full albums :) I get abit anal over certain things...like how all my mp3s need to correctly named. with the title, artist, album, year, song index, genre :p perfectionist anot?? hahaha

I'm just listening to Shiina Ringo at the moment. Her music has been one of the better ones I've heard. She sings in english, japanese, french and german. Jazz, swing, grunge, pop....all kinds of songs. That's one of the reasons I like her music. Feels so different. Anwayy...rather than me trying to describe her, theres a TIME article on her music:

I called up my recruiter today (useful having his direct number...heheh) and he says I got good feedback from my interviewer and they'd like to schedule another interview with me. yeah!!! V for victory!! K la... shouldn't be celebrating so early...the 2nd round is gonna be tougher...more in depth on my 'skills'...ahemm :p

fongie called me from KL tonight! so nice of her...but mainly cuz shes think's i'm damn depressed and desp for a gf....ahhhhhh!!!! but i can see her point...after reading the past post, pretty easy to assume that. aihss.. i should watch what i write :p

religion seems to be the flavour of the week for me. I was thinking of death/afterlife yesterday. And today...this random old fart talked to me. At first I thought he was just curious about my shinai (I leave for kumdo directly from work on tuesdays). Then he asked my opinion about war, so I figure he is some old "make love not war" hippie dude. In the end, he turned out to be from the cult of Christ, and ended up telling me some 'history' lessons about Christianity, the bible, stuff like that. Its rather interesting though, not that its gonna make me a man of the cloth :p Its like reading a good fiction :)

Kla..I don't want to put down Christianity. "To each their own". That's my motto. But religion doesn't do anything for me at the moment. I'll live my life the way I see fit. As self-centered as that sounds, I think thats most appropriate for me. Its late now...sleep time

Cuz that 1K already been 'spent' :p $800 on Kumdo armour. sick! Dunno what I'm gonna with the remaining $200 though. But I have plenty of shit that I wanna buy. $200 ain't enough. Arrgghh!

still no news from Accenture, but I'm gonna give it till Wednesday b4 I start getting depressed :p Speaking of depression... I've been thinking of dying lately. Well, just this morning actually. And no...I'm not feeling suicidal, nor am I depressed. Life is okay for me at the moment. It would be good if I had an Integra...even better if I got laid, but that's a different topic. Anyway, I'm kinda thinking what it would be like if a person died (namely, me...) I don't exactly buy in to that heaven & hell crap. I believe in a Creator but that's about it. Don't really care about spirituality now. I don't have enough "faith" for it do any good for me. Although perving on girls in church would be rather nice. i'm feeling quite buggered now. i spent more then 3 hours on public transport today. ughh... we were spose to go to Bondi today, but cancelled plans cuz the weather was being stupid. one moment, its damn nice. sunshine all the way. 5 minutes later, looks like end of the world. another 5 mins...back to sunshine. dumbb.

andy decided to go anyway though, and i agreed...unfortunately. I took a bus that goes to Bondi Junction near my place...and it does get there...after about 1 1/2 hours sitting on the bus. nyabehh... stupid bus route goes all the way south ..and then back up again. By the time I got to Bondi...the weather was already cold. No topless girls too :p Ended up just staying there for fish and chips..and went to the Westfield's at Bondi Junction. Nice place. Looks damn classy (i.e. expensive :p)

that's it for my sunday...i think i'll sleep at 9 tonight. i feel damn tired. not enough sleep. Went out late on Sat as well. Thos got his car back, so he came over and we went out for late night supper. We still went down to the city though... had Harry's hotdog. Its quite nice...and got to perv at a hot chick there too! with a bareback top...nothing much left to the imagination...mamma miaa! :)

oh...and Thos wanted me to blog that he "mati-ed" engine while reversing his car. hahahahah. actually, he didn't want me to blog about that part of the night...but too bad :P

mannn.. i'm so tired. i did just come back from kumdo, but that wasn't it. its just been like that the past few days. I always fall asleep on the trains now, and I almost missed my stop the last 3 times I was on the train. Alwez manage to wake up in time to run out the door.

I watched Catwoman with Thos yesterday.. nice! SM warrior queen! hahahhah. But that aside, it is a little too much CG... alot of the movement quite fake, but I guess thats how movies are nowadays.

today was shopping with Andy at Birkinhead Point (spelt correctly?) To be more accurate, window shopping :p Both of us were looking for a suit. Andy was just looking for a coat now. We did find a couple that were nice...but gawd...suits are a real bleeder. At least $300 for an okay one. There was a Cerruti going for $450 !! Nice!!!! Somehow...I just love NC brand and Boss :)
Alas...we don't have the money to blow.

I might go back next week to actually buy a suit. I suppose I do need one, not just for my sis's wedding...but for interviews and stuff. bah

anyway... no plans tonight la. i think its better for me to stay at home. i need to get some rest. i've been out the whole day anyway. and i got a new computer game from Andy as well... so at least I won't be bored :)

Missed a day of blogging yesterday. Was kinda tired and got back late. Well...my interview was yesterday. Some of you guys already know... it didn't go too well. Aihhs... I mean, it wasn't horrible. I could answer the questions reasonably, but not without the occasional Ermm..Hmmm... pauses... tongue tied, etc etc. Aihs.. And the answers I gave. welll.. it could be better as well. I only thought of a better answers AFTER the interview was over. stupid!

the questions weren't exactly easy. well, i suppose they are kinda standard in a way. Ask about the greatest challenge you face, how you resolve conflicts, what i expect to gain from working there. my opinion on this..on that.. and some technical questions too! bahger... like sitting for an exam only. out of nowhere ask about software life cycle..testing... if i was fresh out of uni, then it would be no problem. but my computer knowledge all rusted already.

their questions are quite specific. and its sorta tailored according to what you write in your resume and cover letter. for example, when the interviewer would ask "What are your strengths in programming?" "In a dispute with your team mate, how would you deal with the matter?" blah blah... I was so nervous that I didn't have time to remember the questions he asked as well...ughhh

well... I'll find out how I did in a week's time. Sighh... can't do anything but hope for the best. And start looking for other places to work :p newayss... after the interview, I hung around kino for a bit. waited for Thos to finish work and then watched him do BJ with a guy at his city dojo. hahaha. so dodgy. ermmm. I watched for a while and then went off to Andy's place for dinner. had a couple of drinks (and smokes :p) , chat and then went home.

I sort of got on the wrong train though. It would still take me home, but using the long way around. But neway... because of that, I hopped off at Wynward station which is where *drumrollll* Krispy Kreme is!!! Have to admit la...donuts that aren't fresh are kinda crappy. Nothing more than a sugar overload. And I bought a dozen summore. heheheh. Greedy...

i don't even remember the name of the guy i'm suppose to meet. arrghh!!! wrote it down on piece of paper, but i left it at work. crapp. that doesn't matter...as long as the paper is still there. getting my colleague ring me up with the details tomorrow. hope its still in the same spot.

sighhh... the more i think about it. the more i'm stressing out. i'm actually getting a headache already. mannnnn. i need to relax.... i'll go make some tea to drink. heheheh.

enough about the interview. blog about something else. Errmm... I seem to be spending more nowadays. The more activities I do... the more I have to spend. (well.....not have to :p) . With kumdo, theres the fees, uniform & armour (one off items, so it ain't that bad). But my monthly expenses increases because of the additional bus rides I take. Plus I definitely eat out on the days I go for kumdo. And I tend to buy a drink from the convi store after training. I had Lipton milk tea today. $2 for a 400ml packet. Its pretty nice actually. Makes me miss Jacq's milk tea though. yumyum. Have to admit...she does make it pretty good. Probably the copious amounts of sugar water she puts in :p

on another note...the scab/blister? on my hand seems to be expanding. eep! i can't tell if its getting worse. at least if it was a scab i could pick it :) but its hardening beneath a layer of skin...so I don't know if i should just slice my hands and bleed it out...or leave it. hmmmm. i think i'll take a photo of it and show Wilson. Free consultation. hahahahah :p

awrightttss.. i got my interview with Accenture scheduled! woop woop! now I'm nervous as heck. Can't afford to fuck this up. My first choice for a career. Add oil!!! I can do it!! I guess I better start preparing.. I spent the night figuring out what to wear, and then ironing it. Hehehhe. Feels like I'm preparing for a hot date (actually...I probably put less effort into that). Its on Wednesday anyway. So I have tomorrow night & Wed morning to get ready.

I don't even know how to answer regular interview questions yet. Stuff like 'why I wanna work with Accenture?' blah blah blah. I'm not enough of a bullshitter. It's already kinda hard for me not to go 'errrr...' during an interview, as well as speaking clearly. sighhhhh. come to think of it, none of my interviews went particularly well. i get too nervous and can't arrange my thoughts & words properly.

i actually wanna blog abit more...but i better not waste any more time. I still need to complete the online application. haven't put in my cover letter & academic transcript.

1/3 X Chinese Egg Noodles @ $1.25 / 420g
1/5 X Happy Lams Fish Tofu @ $5.99 / 500g
1/4 X Happy Lams Beef Balls @ $2.20 / 200+g
1/4 X Bean Sprouts @ $0.49 / 450g
1/12 X Farm Fresh Eggs @ $1.99/dozen
Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce
Chicken Stock (non-MSG)

how:
====
1) Boil in a medium sized cooking pot (stainless steel preferred).
2) Put in Chinese Egg Noodles. Separate noodles & stir occasionally for 2 minutes.
3) Turn off flame (or power...) & rinse noodles in cold water. Set aside.
4) Put water to boil again & add 1 tsp of Chicken Stock. This makes the soup base :p
5) Add Fish Tofu, Beef Balls to soup. Stir occasionally for 2 minutes and add return noodles to soup.
6) Crack egg over the noodles, making sure no shell remnants get mixed in.
7) Add bean sprouts to pot, and make sure that it is partly immersed.
8) Turn off flame, and leave the pot for 2 minutes.
9) Add oyster sauce to taste and dig in!

Total cost of meal : Roughly $2.50

not bad eh?! you can tell i'm pretty bored now :p i've been writing up a cover letter for my Accenture application, but can't be stuffed at the moment. Anyway... the noodles is what I usually cook for dinner at home. I usually add some fresh mushrooms as well, but forgot about it today :) Hmmm... meat pie is still cheaper though. $6.28 for 6!! muahhahah.

i have some combination good & bad news related to my kumdo. Sensei told me I will start wearing the bogu (armour) next Saturday. Yay!!! Bad thing is...I'm gonna have to fork out $800 for it...painnnnnn. Good thing I'm getting some tax back! :) if all goes well with my tax return. i shuold be getting around $1K back.

I guess I have to put my bike on hold...again :p Well...its not just the money I have to fork out for the armour. Its also cuz I'm reconsidering again. aihss... keep wavering back and forth between a car and a bike. arrrrghhhh. On one hand, riding a bike is so cool! And I really enjoy it. On the other... it's a lot less practical (except for parking). you can't carry shit around...get rained on, its cold. And its quite sick to ride in work clothes :p aihhhhssssss. Well... I'll just keep an eye out for a good deal on a bike la. But won't force myself to get a bike now. I suppose it is a good idea to secure a new job first, before making any moves.

I also watched the Terminal last night. It wasn't too bad. Some laughs... and its an interesting story. Rather fresh. And its not so lovey-dovey as well. So thats a plus...especially since I watched the movie with Thos.

sunday is chores day. doing my laundry...cleaning up.. etc etc. Hmmm.. I gotta save more money this month. A lot of extra expenditures... theres my bogu, the medical I had. Hmmm... that seems to be all actually. But thats already 1K aussie... ouch! and theres so many things I need to buy. A new chair for starters. Mine will probably break in about a month or two. friday night blog. like i mentioned previously (...previously mentioned? hmmm) i had my PR medical again today. went down city, had lunch with Yen and then went to the medical. i didn't have to do a chest x-ray again though. woopee!!! i guess some good did come out of having my follow up x-ray so late (the one for the TB follow-up). saved me ermm...$80. yeahh!! lucky thing i decided to bring the report from that checkup, if not i would have to do the xray. phew! i don't feel so bad now. hahahah.

although with my luck... i can envision my case officer getting the medical reports late. and then that xray report would have expired (valid for 2 months)... and i have to go thru the whole process again. By the time i get another xray done, and get the reports sent over, my police check and skills assessment would expire o_O ....ARRRGHHHHH... kla. abit exaggerate. i'm not born under a black star (i think...)

newayz. i went to see bikes today as well. at Action motorcycles in the city. pity its not like in Melbourne. you get all the city bike shops in one row. sooo much more convenient. anywayz. The guy i spoke with didn't recommend an FZR250. Cuz its too old...and will have problems eventually. Thats not a big deal in itself...but parts for the FZR are REAALLYY hard to get. I should know...I rode one in Melbourne. I couldn't even get a windshield replacement for my bike. Shheeshh.

i told him my budget for a bike (around 4K...more to the left side) and he mentioned its not enough to get a badass sports bike. They have a '97 Yamaha Zeal going for $4500...regoed till Feb '05. oh! in case you didn't realise... i've decided to get a bike instead of a car :p I lose the convenience of a car...but i get to ride something that looks and feels good :) now i just gotta work out how much i should spend, and what to get.

i'm not happy with my PR application. damn fucked. i have to do the stupid medical exam again. gonna cost me another $283 !! wtf mann.. whats the bloody point of doing it when sending in the application if it just expires within 6 months. damn pissed off. i'm gonna be broke enough without having to pay for extra shit like this. not only that, its gonna delay my application even further. depending how long the morons that do the medical take to process the paperwork.

at least my PR is pretty much gonna be granted once the medical shit is done, according to my case officer. might as well just grant the damn thing la! biatch!! take so bloody long to look at the application. thats it man.. i'm gonnna milk aussie for all its worth once i get my PR... :p

arrrghhh!!! just came home from kumdo... and was hoping to have some of the butter cookies for a snack. sat down...opened the tin up and the intoxicating scent of butter cookies filled my nose. i looked in the tin, and discovered NO MORE COOKIES!!! ahhhhhh. i totally forgot i ate them all for breakfast this morning. aihssss.

'The Davinci Code' is actually a pretty good read. i'm slightly over a third thru the book. just been reading it while on the trains. i was reading it on my way home today, and almost missed my stop. too engrossed in the book, i didn't even realise the train was making stops.

Internet was down until about 10 mins ago, so i only just got online.

i'm just gonna finish this blog, then i gotta go pack my gear for training tomorrow. my left hand looks really ugly now. theres a red spot where i got a blister at the 'ball' of my finger. i think its a blood clot under the skin, and the skin is exposed...cuz swinging the shinai tears parts of the skin away :p sounds gross huh? i'm take a picture if i had a cam :)

what other injuries do i have? i got one thats unrelated to kumdo...got a stupid ulcer on my lip. damn irritating. all this while i thought it was a cut or just cracked lips. looked in the mirror 5 mins ago and found it was an ulcer. sheesh. just as irritating. at least it doesn't really get in the way of eating :)

ugh...this is kind of a crappy weekend. didn't get to yumcha (curse you thos!), which is actually a good thing, cuz i'm sick now. bah! i shuold have taken some panadol b4 i slept in the afternoon. major headache now, and a slight fever.

didn't get up to much. it was pouring in the afternoon. got caught in the rain on my way home. i went down to city about 11-ish. had lunch (by myself!! :p) at ichiban-boshi. which contributed to a crappy day cuz they didn't have their special "15 bowls a day only!" tonkatsu ramen. bah! at least their karaage was alright. not very filling though.

i actually wanted to shop around for a suit... but my fever was already kicking in. the cold weather and drizzle didn't help much. and it was so bright and sunny in the morning!! sheeeshhh. neway. i went to see MFest! it was pretty good actually. quite a good turnout for the weather. There were a lot of performances by Cempakans. Flew all the way down to perform. The chinese drummers were pretty good. it reminds me of the movie 'Drumline', watch that! its quite fun. Anyway, Datin Freida was there as well. Said hi to her as well. She looks so prosperous. Hahahah. Cempaka has come a long way in just 5 years. It seems so different from when we were studying there.

oh! i also bought a book as well. "The Davinci Code". Alot of ppl seem to be raving about it. Carol says its really good as well. so might as well. i needed a book to read and had no idea what to buy. I only read a couple of pages though, can't really concentrate on the book with my fever. but it seems promising.

no yumcha again today...again! thos is being a woman. farrk. i'm still going down city anyway. but just wanted to post a link

as you can tell...i'm quite the bored person now. been mucking around with my blog templates and stuff. its good HTML practice. can't remember half the stuff i learnt.

2nd post for today! i'm pretty bored...as you can tell. didn't do nothin today. only kumdo practice. i wasn't feeling well around noon as well. felt like i was getting a fever. so just slept away my afternoon. felt better after that though. guess i just needed to recharge.

going yumcha tomoro!! as long as the weather is alrite. bad weather forecasted. hope it doesn't rain too much, especially since yen & koon having their mfest thing as well. would be a pity. Pai Kuat!! here i come!!! Side note... someone googled into my blog looking for pai kuat :) a kindred spirit!!! hahahah

ermm.. i've been looking for bikes as well.. which i shouldn't :( makes me tempted to get one...which is kinda a mistake... arrgghh! tough chioce. anyway...some pictures of the ones i'm interested in:

aih...such a boring morning. nothing much to do at all. shouldn't have ODed on the anime last night. now i don't have anything to kill time until kumdo. well. i actually planned to go down city and do some shopping, but woke up a bit late... and then i had to do my laundry... no more underwear :p and then i had to get out of the hosue... cuz no more laundry powder o_O aihs

was planning to yumcha tomorrow as well. but then the stupid Thos wanted to do it today...cuz hes lazy to go out tomorrow. but i just cooked lunch. bahger. i figured mite as well yumcha tomorrow, then can go down Darling Harbour to see the MFest thing. don't ask what it is... i'm not sure. just some malaysian cultural event organised by UTS malaysian society. or mebbe its a combo of a couple of uni's. can't remember what Yen said.

so i guess i'm stuck at home for now... with nothing to do but gorge myself on danish butter cookies. which i just bought...and already ate almost half a 700g can :p

i was late for work this morning. did i blog about that already? don't think i did. i realised i left my mobile behind 2 minutes before the train arrived at the station. usually i wouldn't bother going back to get it, but i'm hoping to get a call from the Accenture guy regarding my interview.

work was alrite...i think i'm getting rather bored of what I do at work. i get abit stoned by 3-4 o'clock. just want to go back home by then.

i'm usually sleeping at this time...but just got back from kumdo practice. putting my legs on ice at the moment. still haven't fully recovered from last time, but i'm still going practice anyway. it doesn't really hurt anymore. don't know if its cuz of the voltaren... or cuz its better.

more anime downloaded!!! woopeee!! unfortunately...its fucked up cuz i can't watch it. mahemm... either the video is corrupted... or my codecs aren't complete. divx is good...but can be a bloody pain.

killing time b4 i head off to work. i left the house just now, but had to come back cuz i forgot my pills :P
