yayyyyyyyy! my computer has been revived! well..its practically a new computer. New cpu, motherboard and gfx card. Thats all the important bits. Costed me $651...aihs.. i'm really broke now.

but at least I can play new games at max detail!! sweeeetttt! its been a while since I was able to do that. although my previous setup was good enough for WoW, and thats all I ever play nowadays.

did I mention that my old GM wants me to go back to work at F**co? I don't really want to... since its so bloody far, and I'll be doing the same old thing. No progress at all. But then again, its not like I have anything else going for me. At this point, it doesn't look like my applications are going anywhere. Life's a bitch. I'm gonna start looking up some random jobs online again. Shouldn't be just sitting around playing games all day. The past few days of not being able to do that put some perspective back into my life :p Nothing like not being able to play games to tell me that I shouldn't be playing games ^_^

First up will be getting my shifts fixed where I'm working now, so I can get another night job; at a proper bar this time. No settling for less. Next is apply for a couple of other jobs...failing that, I'd probably have to start studying again. Do a couple of programming certification courses perhaps...

oh how nice... i got my rejection letter from KPMG as well. What a great week its been o_O and I think that was my most well written application as well. meh!

arrgghhh!!!! my computer is dead! dammit...partly my fault too. I took it apart to clean...but now it can't boot up anymore. bah! I can't really isolate the problem as well, since I don't have any spares to work with. This is the one time I wish I was still working at Favco... plenty of computers for me to muck around with (although thats sorta illegal since its company property o_O).

I have a rough idea what went wrong. One is that the graphics card decided to pick that time to die on me. Bloody huge coincidence...since I've been having problems with the gfx card lately neway. Keeps crashing. 2nd...is that I killed the CPU somehow. I did use a vacum cleaner to clean all the dust. A big no-no, since that generates loads of static, and static = very bad for computers. But then again, I've been doing that for the past 8 years...never had any problems before.

Plenty of other things could have gone wrong la... motherboard dead... PSU decides to fuck up... and the list goes on and on. Computers can be iffy bastards. But conclusion is, I need new parts. Its still a little early for an upgrade, I've only been using this system for about 2 years. They usually last me 3 years or more. Sighh... but don't really have a choice at the moment. Must get Warcraft up and running again :p Aihs... and all this because I didn't want to play Warcraft yesterday...so I decided to clean up the computer. Sheesshhh... WoW is the devil, whether I play it or not.

Anyway, I've been doing some research into what I need to get. I'm really out of it in terms of computer parts. Don't know whats good anymore. So many different iterations of the same model. Idiot manufacturers... I've only decided on the CPU so far. But don't know about motherboard and gfx card yet. It depends which way I want to go... I could get an SLI motherboard and have TWO gfx card running my computer. double the grunt! pretty neat huh... relatively new technology. But truthfully, I've been thinking of getting a laptop as my next computer. Since I sorta intend to travel around next time....dilemma dilemma

sigh. i still haven't heard anything regarding my other applications. it has been 3 months since I left Favco liao... means I've been working at the cafe for almost 2 months? time seems to fly so fast...sorta. I've been thinking if I made the right choice. I enjoy working at the cafe la... but not doing enough bartending stuff. The more things I can do at the cafe... the less time I'm spending at the bar. Ishh.. lately I've working behind the coffee and food section a fair bit. coffee section can get really busy. Try making an order for 8 hot chocolates..and then getting orders for 3 cappucinnos - 1 decaf, 4 flat whites, 2 soy lattes and a skim mocca at 1 go o_O All out within 10 minutes :p I did an additional 2-3 hot chocolates the other day though. mixed up the milk :p Doing the bar is so much easier. Except for the washing dishes part. Aihs...

I think I wanna change workplace soon though. But I wanna wait till I get news on the jobs I applied for first...then make plans after that. And I can't really leave now too. I'm supposed to replace this guy who is going back to hong kong for a holiday nex month. Can't remember how long that will be. Hmmm... I don't like being committed to something.

And something else cropped up as well. Shenan (the GM at Favco) wants me to go back and work. The guy who replaced me last time left and they need someone to take over. Hmmm.. back to purchasing? Not all that interested...plus I'm living even further from Liverpool now. But he says that I'm gonna be more involved in the IT side of things as well... but don't quite know what that means. Anyhow, I'll be going in to have a chat with him on Wednesday. I might consider it if I get a raise...and a company car ^_^ but then again...driving that deathtrap isn't exactly a good idea.

On top of that...theres kickboxing tonight. not too sure if I wanna go. My shuolders are still really sore from Tuesday. I can always go in on Saturdays to train...but hmmmmm...Ughh.. thinking too much. head hurts. Must...lie ...down

i woke up this morning feeling bloody tired. I laid in bed for a while trying to remember what happened and then I got up. *crack*pop*crack. All my joints made that popping noise o_O Then I remembered that I went kickboxing yesterday :p Its not so bad now though... body doesn't hurt as much as the first time I went.

I have been having some weird dreams lately though. I think about 2 nights ago... I dreamt that I was back in school? Or maybe uni. I think quite a fair bit of ppl were in it. But it wasn't a very happy dream. I dreamt that I failed all my subjects o_O And then I got so stressed out over it that I woke myself up o_O I think I get more stress in my dreams than I do in real life.

Ermmm..what else? very nice weather this morning. Cool n gloomy. Rained this morning. Oh... its actually still raining now. Hope it continues at night too. Rain = less customers... hopefully.

tuesday is kickboxing day! and i have to go today. been wayyyyy too slack. haven't done any of my own exercises for 2 weeks liao. can feel my body turning back to mush... o_O

i missed kickboxing again today. i'm paying $80 a month for nothing. ish! Thos couldn't make it today...but I could have gone by myself. I was about to actually, but then Thos called up and said they (the suncorp gang) were gonna have dinner in the city. I had to choose between (a) getting smashed by shihan during training or (b) getting out of the house and having a nice meal in the city. Naturally.. I chose (a) ^_^

but yeah..can't keep this up la. I haven't done my own exercises at home since I started, partly cuz my body has been too effed up the past week or so. Oh well... I'll make sure I do some tomorrow, IF i can peel myself away from the computer. At least I've been cutting down on my WoW time... almost as if my addicted-ness passed on to Andy :) But I'm still not getting any work done though. I'm still downloading anime to watch :) But ran out of stuff that I want to see, so I downloaded a couple of random titles. One turned out pretty nice, Peach Girl. It was a shoujo manga (i.e. comic for girls) but it turned out kinda nice. Love love story with some drama n comedy happening. It was even made into a Taiwanese drama. I don't know the name of the show in chinese (peach girl??) but theres a small pic of the actors in the previous link. Maybe whoever reads this can figure it out.

I downloaded a couple eps of the taiwanese drama as well. I guess its Meteor Garden kind of stuff. Don't really know...cuz I haven't watched MG but it feels like it I guess. I prefer the anime version. I was about to say that anime should remain anime... but I preferred the live Gokusen to the anime version. I think I've mentioned this already though. Oh well....

A few ppl actually got conned by the hickie part of my last post. gotcha! :p

Its been a week already but some of the bruises are still there. I found a really weird bruise on my right arm today. It looks like the kind of scar that kids would draw on themselves. You know, one long line and u make crosses on it. Sorta like the railroad tracks on maps. Gave me a huge shock when I saw it. No idea how it happened... most likely when I slept last night. I think I slept in a weird position last night. I woke up this morning with a bloody sore shoulder as well. My shoulder felt like it was dislocated or something.... ugh... my body is falling apart.

Its been really tiring the past 2 weeks, cuz I'm perpetually sore sinceI took up kickboxing. I started what? Tuesday of last week, took me till Saturday for most of the soreness to go away, and then Sunday was skirmish. After that...body condemned for another 2-3 days. Then it was kickboxing on Thursday and my arms still feel tired from all the punches o_O And I don't even get much rest in between those days...cuz I worked a lot of hours this week.

Other bit of news... me and Thos psychoed Fei Andy to play Warcraft! Hehehehe. He went out and bought it today and is now officially an addict ^_^ Come join the cult !!! Muahahaha. Thos is trying to get Suncorp Andy to play as well...and Fatts seems interested in the game as well :) Fresh meat!

I went out last night and picked up a chick at a bar. Took her back home and made out :) Gave me a nice hickie too..

.... is what I would like to say :p But we actually went to play paintball this morning. Its my 1st time, and its bloody good fun. I think it was organised by Ken-chan's badminton club, so it was a total of 29 ppl. Supposed to be 30, but 1 guy chickened out right at the last minute. Paintball ain't a cheap game. We paid $130 each for 800 bullets. That's almost half my weekly pay with the hours I'm getting at the cafe. Ouch...

Don't have a picture of the whole group in the camos... I didn't bother buyin it, but ken-chan got a picture taken with his camera. Hope that turns out good. I left my cam in the car, so the pics I took were after the event.

It was damn good fun though! All those bruises were worth it...sort of :p I did really well too. Quite proud of myself. Most of the stuff I got on my back were from the free-4-all at the end. Simply hantam only... and I didn't have much ammo by then. I got headshot...so I have a nice lump on my forehead, and I also ate a paintball...literally. Tastes like bile. Ugh...

The actual scenarios were pretty sweet though. I excel at the elimination games. Manage to sneak behind the other team and backstab them... in 3 consecutive games. Muahahahah. Took down 5-6 of them each time I do that. Hero-nya! Died at the end of my run la... but damn worth it since I fragged so many ^_^ One time was pretty wasted la... I think I actually cleaned out the remnants of the opposing team. I took down about 6 of them....and then got shot by a teammate in the end o_O Tiu...

Next intended activity? Go-kart!
