Anyway.. the temple is pretty nice. lots of greenery and stuff. i haven't been to much chinese temples, so can't compare. but i suppose its pretty impressive la.
The main temple
and the pagoda
We aren't allowed to take pictures inside the the temples, but its fine in the surrounding areas, like
the guardian lion
thos & andy like climbing on stuff...
Next stop was the blowhole at Kiama. Kinda disappointing cuz the blowhole wasn't blowing :p I don't think i've seen one in person before. but the scenary was pretty nice, so we took plenty of pictures.
The grass was nice and soft. Not prickly at all
Close up of the group (minus Betty)
a far shot?
We had lunch after that and proceeded to Jamberoo Park, highlight of the day! BUTTTTT
Good on ya Andy o_O
Nothing much else to do, so we went to the Wollongong beach/lighthouse place and took a couple more pictures. We wanted to watch a movie after that... but there was nothing on. So just ended up walking around the local Westfield... until it closed at 4pm o_O Dinner was at the Wollongong Builder's club .. so we just headed there to lepak till dinner.
yeahh...Thos really likes to mount random objects
We had an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner at night. a decent selection of food, and its cheap too! only $18.50 per head (and $13.50 on weekdays) As usual, i ended up stuffing myself wayyyyyyyyyy too much.
I just realised Betty always takes the group pictures
No more pics after that...too busy gorging myself ^_^ And thats about it for Wollongong. didn't get to see the blowhole and the park... but it was still a good day la. better than playing WoW at home :p
